Alma 37:44
For behold, it is as easy to give heed to the word of Christ, which will
point to you a straight course to eternal bliss, as it was for our fathers
to give heed to this compass, which would point unto them a straight course
to the promised land.

Ok, this is pretty cool. The Liahona, or the compass, guided the family of
Lehi to the promised land. The scriptures will be just as effective.
Usually, compasses only function well if you know where you are, and where
you want to go, because it always points one direction. The Liahona pointed
to where the Lord wanted the family of Lehi to go. The scriptures are the
same way! Guides and the internet and things not of God will do a pretty
good job of showing us where North is, but they will never be able to guide
us. Only the words of Christ can do that. Only the words of Christ can take
us to the promised land.

Anyway, reeeaaally short recap this week, sorry it's a bit late again. The
biggest developement is that Cindy is on date for baptism! We also got her
mom to say yes to letting her get baptized! She is set to get baltized on
the 31st, pray for her!
But yeah, just work and stuff and stuff and work! We spend a lot of time in
an apartment complex called "Willow Creek" which by my count has 95+
buildings. I think the average building is ≈30 units. Massive. Probably
once a day, we get a referral for someone in that complex. Or, we meet
somone at Walmart who also lives there. Like 8 recent converts live there
haha. Pretty cool place.

Next week I get to go to the temple. What a privilege.
This week for pday, we played kickball as a zone, then went to do mini
golf/arcade as a district. I'm getting decent at Guitar Hero lol. Pretty
fun!
