Buennnaaas tardes!
Short one for the year mark because I was busy all day
Anyway very HARD WEEK OH MY GOSH
this is probably the toughest week of my mission. Nothing happened haha. We
legit spent hours finding and talked to almost one!! Good growth week. A
lot of the problem is ICE I think, a lot of people are real scared. Don't
blame em. Good character growth though. Besides that, I also developed a
taste for youth music this week. The grind is real. God is good.
Ok a brief scripture followed by a briefer goodbye:
This is from John 4. We talked about it a bit at zone conference.
35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold,
I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are
white already to harvest.
This, for me, is about procrastination. With wheat (allegedly, I'm an
engineer not a farmer), when it is prepared for harvest its a gold color.
When it's white, you need to harvest it now. Its already been ready to
harvest. And thats how missionary work is. Even if it seems like you aren't
reaping very much. Every sheaf gathered is good indeed. This applies to any
other task too! What things in your life are already to harvest? I invite
you to consider reaping.
Anyway besides reading Hugh Nibley, working, and sleeping, not much has
happened. I played a game this week called Villanous that I liked. Its like
a disney card game thing I dunno. We also ate some elotes (rosted corn with
mayo and cheese) and tried not to crash out.
