Wow, June is just FLYING by, huh?
This is gonna be short because I said so.
Scripture:
Amos 8
11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord God, that I will send a famine in
the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the
words of the Lord:
12 And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the
east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the Lord, and shall not
find it.
13 In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.
So sad. :(
But then Jesus says:
"Come unto me all ye ends of the earth, buy milk and honey, without money
and without price."
So happy! :)
Jesus is also "Living water," is it any wonder that the restoration of the
church has filled the world with spiritual food and water?
I will leave the analysis to you for why this is meaningful haha!
Anyway other stuff!
Just another week ova here in the great Texas Houston East Mission. We have
zone conference this week (already???) And we're having Elder Schmidt from
the Seventy come so that should be neato burrito. Missionary work wise, its
kinda been slow up here. We have been working a lot with our recent
converts and have been struggling finding people who are willing (or able)
to progress. And also once again we'd have like 5 more people baptised
right now if they'd just get married!!! So silly haha. But all in its time.
I trust God. I'll keep working hard no worries. Frankly this area needs
nurturing, not baptisms right now.
Today for pday we played Magic, and took a nap. Needed rest.
