Marching on

Howdy Gamers!
It's your boy Elder Miller back with another weekly update. I cant belive
its already been another week, how wild is that? I hope you are all doing
well and are enjoying your Labor Day. Ok weekly scripture time! I just
wanna share the entire talk "Safety for the Soul" by Jeffrey R. Holland.
Itsl's pretty fuego. I wanna focus on a certain part of it for now though,
and how it kinda talks about a fulfilled prophecy. In 2 Nephi 27, Nephi
talks about how the Book of Mormon will be rejected by people for being a
sealed book, and he says "And now, because of the glory of the world and to
get gain will they say this, and not for the glory of God." Holland
likewise says that if someone wants to deny the church, "it must be done by
crawling over or under or around the Book of Mormon". The Book of Mormon is
an amazing book. Read it more! Study it! Its good stuff in there!
Ok thats it for my thought, on to my week. Gosh, its kinda been a pretty
standard week. We've finally been getting into the groove of our area, and
so we've been working hard and trying to contact our friends who are more
interested. We unfortunately havent been able to visit our friend on date
yet, so that's been pretty sad. We did, however, get to go to the baptism
of JC, a guy that's been playing soccer with us every other morning for a
month-ish!!! He's awesome, we're actually going to eat breakfast at his
house today to celebrate haha.
Something pretty sad happened this week too. One of our really good member
friends, Wilmer, broke his arm. Elder Ostler and I were able to bake
brownies for him yesterday, which was really fun. I would appriciate it if
you kept Wilmer in your prayers.
This is a short and cute little email this week so use the time you would
have read a longer email with to go read the Book of Mormon! Haha!
