Hey guys!!! Here's my extra-special super fancy Super Duty King's Ranch

cowboy. If having cowboy boots makes you a cowboy, that is.
Anyway let's get started with a little scripture action:

Ecclesiastes 3
1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the
heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to
pluck up that which is planted;
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time
to build up;
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to
dance;
5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a
time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast
away;
7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time
to speak;
8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

This is like so neat. Things are sometimes apropriate, and at other times
they are not. One of the grand secrets of life is figuring out when those
moments are. The other one is figuring out how to wait for them. Theres a
really awesome talk that I love from then Elder Eyering about this verse
and this idea. It's called "The Law of Increasing Returns" To sum it up, it
talks about how in life we are trained to follow the law of decreasing
returns. The gospel teaches us to follow the law of increasing returns. As
he puts it, some spiritual crops might take whole lifetimes to mature. But
they will mature. There is a time to plant, and a time to tend to that
which is planted, and a time to reap. For those who accept Jesus Christ and
His Restored Gospel, they will reap richly.

Anyway, it's been a pretty good transfer so far! Sorry I haven't really
written a whole lot, it's not really that I've been busy but rather than I
haven't wanted to :/
But anyway, we've been having our ups and downs as usual. We've continued
to teach the people that I've talked about in our past email, some of them
are a little bit closer to progressing to baptism. Unfortunately, not this
transfer because nobody came to church last week :(
In terms of other fun stuff that we've been doing though, we spent a lot of
our time visiting members and that is been pretty dang successful! We've
started working with several part member families, and have been able to
give them blessings making the bless their lives. Walking is still pretty
fun, especially now that the weather is in Spring mode and is completely
unpredictable. One day, it'll be rainy and 40° and the next day it'll be in
the high 80s!
This week, the rodeo started in Houston. To celebrate, I bought myself a
pair of cowboy boots! Yeehaw! One awesome thing that happened this week is
that our Ward had a baptism of seven people! It's the most I've heard of
for one single baptism in our mission. Unfortunately, none of our friends
could come to that either, so we had to go work, but the photos from it are
pretty fantastic. The Lord truly is hastening his work. I'm so glad to be a
part of it, and specially glad to be in this part of the Lord's vineyard.
Unfortunately, I can't really think of any stories that are standing out
for me from this week, so I guess it's just
