'Tis the Season

Very good evening to you!
I hope you had a splendid Thanksgiving! I had a good time. Its like having
2 pdays in one week. Which makes it extra akward that I didn't send an
email last week.
But yeah, December has finally begun! Can you belive 2025 is basically
over? Where did it go? Well, last week we went to the Temple which was
really fun! We went to the Galleria afterward, which was less fun, but I
lived through it haha! For Thanksgiving, we had a dinner with a member at
like 3:00ish, and then afterward we went to the house of one of the
councilors of the mission presidency. Today, we went to Cidercade, which is
an arcade where you pay $12 and you can play however much you want. It's
pretty sick! We also went to a fancy burger place called Rodeo Goat. I went
there my first transfer, so it's been over a year since i'd been there. It
was pretty good.

This comes from Moroni 7. Who wrote it? Mormon. Duh.
12 Wherefore, all things which are good cometh of God; and that which is
evil cometh of the devil; for the devil is an enemy unto God, and fighteth
against him continually, and inviteth and enticeth to sin, and to do that
which is evil continually.
13 But behold, that which is of God inviteth and enticeth to do good
continually; wherefore, every thing which inviteth and enticeth to do good,
and to love God, and to serve him, is inspired of God.
14 Wherefore, take heed, my beloved brethren, that ye do not judge that
which is evil to be of God, or that which is good and of God to be of the
devil.

Moroni 7 is an AMAZING chapter. You should go re-read it soon. What a
simple yet powerful truth. Good things come from God. Bad things don't. If
it's good, its directly from God. It definitely helps me feel more
gratitude to God. How miraculous is the being that created joy! How blessed
is the name of Him who gave my existence purpose! Without Him, there is no
good or evil. He is the ultimate good, and It's up to us to decide what
resides in his kingdom and what doesn't. He lent us the light of His Son to
judge for ourselves. Discern, Choose, whatever. God will tell you what is
right and what isn't. Sometimes he may do that through past mistakes you or
somone else had made. Even trials are good because of God!
In terms of missionary work stuff happening this week, it's kinda a bit
slow. It's dark as heck by 5:30PM, and our most productive work is from
6:00-9:00PM. We've been trying some creative stuff to make the best out of
it. For example, there's a bunch of parts of our area that just don't exist
on Google Maps, so we drive around to see if theres any houses. If there
are, we go back when its a bit lighter to go finding. That's been pretty
effective. We have one friend who is progressing kind of good right now
named Reyna, but she's having some serious health complications right now
so please keep her in your prayers!
Unfortunately I don't have more time to write this right now because I did
it on the car ride home and we're almost home, but thanks for tuning in!
