There's nothing we can do

Good morning my fellow-laborers
How are you doing? I hope okay. I didnt get my email out last week. Maybe
you noticed? Probably not. Anyway this email is here now so yeah.
Heres the rundown:
Mark 2
23 And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath
day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.
24 And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day
that which is not lawful?
25 And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he had
need, and was an hungred, he, and they that were with him?
26 How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high
priest, and did eat the shewbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the
priests, and gave also to them which were with him?
27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the
sabbath:
28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the ssabbath.
I think this is a cool insight on the sabbath. It's a day for us to
remember God, not a day for God to remember us. We as people kinda forget a
lot. Thats why Sunday is so important. That's why we take the sacrement so
much. To remind us. That's why we have proxy temple work right now, so WE
can do it. Its a way to remind us, and a way to worship. Pretty cool.
Anyway,
Low key an awful week. Or rather just hard. No one's been answering the
door, I'm not being diligent enough, and to top it all off Belkis is moving
-_-. Tomorrow. We couldn't baptise her because something came up in her
interview but we were supposed to baptise her this week instead. Turns out,
no! I have no idea what to do. I don't know if there is. I was already
having a tough day and I just about cried when she told us. She'll still be
in Houston, just oustide of the mission. I guess we'll hand off her info
and pray that she stays with it. She's been through so much and it makes me
so sad that her baptism has to be put off again. This is like the 4th time
this has happened, where she was a week away from baptism and then
something random and insane came up to stop her from getting baptised. The
Devil is opping hard right now. We did get a new friend to church yesterday
though, he said he really liked it! Hopefully he'll keep progressing. We
also had zone confrence. That was cool I guess. We got to hear from Elder
Rascon again, the area seventy and soon-to-be mission president of the San
Diego Mission. He talked a lot about 1 Nephi 3:7 and how we need to GO and
DO because we KNOW. Last Pday was zone pday and so we played capture the
flag. It took forever, it was 4 teams and we used water balloons. This week
it seems like we'll just be staying in this pday. I need the break haha.
Lotsa Magic today. The whole quad knows how to play good now.
Wow that was a depressing email. Oh, well. Next week will be better.
