Week 29

Howdy pardy peeble!
Its me Elder Miller with a day-late email. Oopsies! How have you been? New
year's has been dope so far? Nice! Ok enjoy this brief measage now:
2 Nephi 28
30 For behold, thus saith the Lord God: I will give unto the children of
men line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little and there a little;
and blessed are those who hearken unto my precepts, and lend an ear unto my
counsel, for they shall learn wisdom; for unto him that receiveth I will
give more; and from them that shall say, We have enough, from them shall be
taken away even that which they have.
We gotta keep working with what we got to get more basically. Seek for
more. Be hungry.
Ok summary time! New years was very busy and tiring. We did service a
bunch. We then tried to do normal missionary work again [emphasis on
tried]. On Sunday we got enlisted to do even more service that went from
about 2:00 in the afternoon to about 6:30 at night. WOW. We also got
enlisted for more service tomorrow haha! Mostly helping people move and
stuff. We got to go to the temple yesterday for pday which was awesome!
After the temple (endowment) Elder Card and I went to the Porsche
dealership in North Houston. Holy smokes that place is neat! I got to see a
few of my favorite cars which was neat. Elder Card is a massive car guy,
and so it was a pretty fun outing. We did have to drive for a sum total of
5 hours though which felt like it took forever. We had interview with
President Schmutz today too. Pretty cool, nothing to report. We're looking
forward to this weekend, we have Elder's conference on Saturday! Lots of
driving to be done when you're over here at the edge of the world (Texas).
Our RAV4 can do about 520 miles on a full tank and we fill her up one a
week. This week, it's been every other day haha!!
