Press Forward

What's up gamers!
Yet again Pday, so it's time for another email! This week went by so fast,
and I honestly don't really have a whole lot to share. I've just been busy
learning Spanish and learning the gospel! On to the Scripture of the week!
D&C 128:22

22 Brethren, shall we not go on in so great a cause? Go forward and not
backward. Courage, brethren; and on, on to the victory! ...

This is my last week here at the MTC, and I especially liked reading this
verse this week because I really liked the message of going forward not
backward. On, on to the mission field! I've been thinking a lot about the
purpose of missionaries. At the core of it, as is the core of all things,
is Jesus Christ. Matthew 28:19 is sometimes called the great commission,
and it is the scripture at the base of all of our missionary work. It's a
pretty neat scripture, too.
This week we've also been speaking exclusively in Spanish with each other,
with something called the SYL challenge (Speak Your Language (Hablar Su
Idioma)). It's been tough, but rewarding! I hope by the end of the week,
I'll be decently comfortable conversing in Spanish. I also had the chance
to go to the Provo City Center Temple today, and that was a super cool
temple to see. I'm glad I was able to go. The district has been pretty good
this week, we've been butting heads a little bit but we're on the mend so
that's great! I'm low-key getting sick and tired of MTC food though, I'm
excited for some food in Texas! That's kinda all I have time for right now
(I'm sorry)! Hopefully I'll have a bit more next week. I love you all and
